Attached townhouses tend to be dark so Boro Architects devised a number of ways to bring light into the center of this three-story single-family home. Natural light washes down the walls through skylights at the stairs and bathrooms. A band of clerestory windows floods the master bedroom with sunlight under a new sloped roof. Oversized sliding doors at the new rear facade light the kitchen and garden level family room.
