Boro Architects is a full-service architectural design studio based in DUMBO, Brooklyn.

The majority of Boro’s work consists of new construction on urban infill development sites and renovations of existing historic townhouses.  Boro’s thorough pre-design services include site selection evaluation, zoning and building code analysis, and site and building programming.

Darrin Krumpus, AIA, LEED AP

Darrin founded Boro Architects in 2008. He is a native of Wahoo, Nebraska, and has been a Brooklyn resident since 2001.  He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Kansas State University and an M.S. in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University. Darrin has been a Registered Architect in New York since 2006 and a LEED Accredited Professional since 2009.
